Meet Anna Marie.

What if…

What if I told you that there is scientific proof that suggests that the digital world does not register as reality to the human brain? And that when someone dies the brain begins to forget what that person looks like?

I am Gen X (can I get a ‘woot, woot’) and we feral folk straddle a world of technology. Do you remember the drive through print labs? What about the one hour photos?

If you’re anything like me, you have a “doom box” somewhere full of fading memories from your childhood through college. The few photos I have of my grandparents from the 1930’s can’t even be handled anymore because the enzymes, all humans carry on our fingers, eats away at the ink.

How about when digital technology first came about? Gosh, that was awesome… My dad digitized a truck load of family photos which are now either pixelated or lost on some device that my modern computer can’t even recognize.

The day my father died, what do you think was the first thing my family did? We searched for PRINTED photos of our dad. Why? Because as it turns out, our brains are hard wired for that.
